Writing Again

Writing Again

Six years since my last post. In between — Stripe to running revenue at an AI company, to GM at a climate tech startup, to COO at Hypervolt. Became a dad. Made forty-plus angel investments. Each chapter gave me material I’m excited to finally write about.

What brought me back to writing is that I started building again. Not professionally — at home, for myself. I built a health operating system on a Mac Mini that tracks my training, sleep, and nutrition. I built it using Claude Code, an AI coding tool, without being an engineer. I have an OpenClaw AI assistant called Zeus that messages me on Telegram when my body needs attention.

That experience opened something up. The tools available to non-engineers right now are genuinely transformative. I’m not talking about chatbots or summarisers — I’m talking about building real, working software to solve problems you actually have. As someone who learned to code in 2019 and hit the ceiling of what I could build alone, watching that ceiling disappear has been one of the most exciting shifts I’ve experienced in tech.

I want to write about that. And about operating, building teams, investing — the things I spend my days on and have opinions about that I’ve been keeping to myself for too long.

No publishing schedule. No newsletter cadence promises. Just writing when I have something worth saying.

Let’s go.
